Indonesian Boat Trip was created by Anthony Arno (his friends call him Yanto). He was born and raised on the island of Flores and worked as an english teacher in Sulawesi before returning to his roots in Flores. He’s an expert tour operator who has been guiding trips since 2011. Yanto has a deep understanding and appreciation for the culture, history, and natural beauty of Flores and Komodo National Park. He believes that by supporting local businesses, we can help preserve the traditions and way of life of the local communities.
As a locally-owned and operated business, Yanto is committed to providing guests with an authentic and unique experience that showcases the best of the region. His knowledgeable crew and operators are locals who have grown up on these waters and are passionate about sharing their love for the area with guests.
In addition to supporting the local economy, he is also dedicated to preserving the environment and the fragile ecosystems of Flores Island and Komodo National Park while providing guests with an unforgettable experience. When you choose Indonesian Boat Trip, you are supporting a responsible and ethical business that values the local community and environment.
Labuan Bajo is the gateway to exploring Flores and Komodo Island National Park, and getting there is easier than you might think.
The fastest and most convenient way to reach Labuan Bajo is by taking a direct flight from Bali or Jakarta. There are several airlines that operate regular flights. From Bali it’s about an hour trip.
Once you arrive at the airport, it’s a 10 minute drive to the harbor. Our team can assist you with travel arrangements to the harbor from the airport or your hotel.
